Salary of Special Educators enhanced in Himachal
As per notification issued by the office of the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, the salary of special educators appointed under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan at elementary level has been increased from Rs. 8,910 to Rs. 14,095 and from Rs. 14,500 to Rs. 17,936 per month at secondary level w.e.f. 1st October, 2023.
After the approval of the executive committee of HPSEC, these special educators in government schools of Himachal Pradesh will also be entitled for six days medical leave in a calendar year.
In addition to this the emoluments of the existing vocational trainers under National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) has also been enhanced by Rs. 2000 to be paid in November, 2023 along with the arrears. Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the State Government was considerate to the demands of these teachers and had assured them of the increase in their salary, which has been fulfilled.
Education Minister, Rohit Thakur thanked the Chief Minister for the initiative.
