Rural Self-Employment boost in Nagarota: A Vision for Inclusive Development
RS Bali, chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Corporation and Cabinet rank official, emphasized creating new self-employment opportunities in rural areas to curb youth migration. Speaking during his visit to the Nagarota Bagwan constituency, he shared his vision of bringing employment to rural doorsteps through initiatives like career counseling and start-up programs, ensuring that local youth become self-reliant within their communities.
Bali reiterated that the development of villages and the upliftment of the poor remain his top priorities under the guidance of the state’s Chief Minister. He urged officials from all departments to ensure corruption-free development work and emphasized the delivery of basic amenities to every corner of his constituency.
Panchayat Dialogue Program
To better understand the needs of rural communities, Bali has launched the Panchayat Dialogue Program. This initiative involves direct engagement with villagers to identify their concerns and priorities. He pledged to focus on providing employment opportunities for members of underprivileged families in each village, aiming to improve their quality of life.
