Resident of Tikkar village to get road connectivity after 74 yrs of Independence
The Residents of Tikkar Village of Solan district are still not connected with the road after 74 yrs of Independence likely to be get bus facility soon as 5.5 km road is being constructed by the state public work department
The SDM Kandaghat Vikas Sood said he recently visited 5.5 km under construction road to ply the bus services on on it which would be a new dawn to the villagers who are still not connected with any road for more than 74 yrs of getting independence.
The bus service to the village would be started soon after Public Works Department would open the some of the bottlenecks to pass the bus properly, SDM informed.
The number of students of Tikker villages have to walk on foot crossing the protected forest and wildlife sanctuary covering five to six kilometer distance to one side. They have to move through the forest daily as wild animals encounter them several time on their way to school from home or vice-versa.
The local resident said that widening work of the road is underway would take six more month to connected the village with the road. Students of Tikker have to came to Chail to get their higher education however they have to moved through the forest and zigzag path through the forest.
There are hardly any village in Kandghat which is still not connected with the road communication however resident of Tikker village have to wait for 74 yrs to have road connectivity. The HRTC bus would be ply on the road soon-after its widening, he added,
