Republic Day is a festival of honor and pride for democracy – Dr MK Soni

Pro Chancellor Dr. MK Soni hoisted the national flag at a function organized at Lingayas Vidyapeeth on the 75th Republic Day. He took the salute of the security personnel marching past. All professors and other staff members participated in the national anthem. During this, students expressed their feelings towards the country through patriotic songs.

On this occasion, Pro Chancellor Dr. MK Soni said that our India is a democratic country. We have to take our country to the point whose golden dream was seen by our brave martyred freedom fighters. University Registrar Prem Kumar Salwan said that Republic Day and Independence Day are our national festivals, which the whole of India celebrates together. Republic Day is a festival of respect and pride for democracy. This festival is associated with the tenacity, sacrifice and sacrifice of our patriots. We have had to struggle a long time to achieve independence. The contribution of freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Lala Lajpat Rai towards independence cannot be forgotten. Prof. Dr. Judith Singh, Dr. Suresh Nagar, Dr. Ravi Prakash Mishra, Bindu Sharma, Dr. Dinesh Jawalkar, Naveen Bhatia, Neha Arora and others were present on the occasion.

Lingayas team won third place at district level.

A district level program was organized by the Haryana Police Department at the Sports Complex located in Sector 12. In which a tableau was also taken out by the students of Lingyas Vidyapeeth. Which got third prize at the district level. The team was honored with a trophy by Cabinet Minister Moolchand Sharma. The institute management congratulated the team on this achievement.
