Registered private professionals to give permission for construction of residential buildings
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj said here today that the registered private professionals are now permitted to give permission for construction of residential buildings in the residential plots (up to 500 square meters) of Urban Local bodies and HIMUDA.
He said that this facility would relax the common people from visiting the Town and Country Planning Department (TCP) office time and again while constructing houses in the state.
Suresh Bhardwaj said that these registered private professionals would grant permission for development under Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Rules 2014 within 30 days only after making site inspection and inspection report. He said that only those private professionals who have more than one year experience would be eligible for granting permission to people.
He said that under this order all the permissions would be given by the registered private professionals through online medium. For this proper facilities would be made available to the registered private professionals in the online portal of Town and Country Planning Department. In addition, the department would also ensure that there are no irregularities and discrepancies in the permissions granted by the private professionals. For this, at least 10 percent of the permissions will be subject to random inspection by the competent authorities, he added.
The Minister further said that after the implementation of this order, No objection certificate (NOC) for electricity and water connections, permissions for change in land use and land division would be given by the Town and Country Planning Department, ULBs, and SADA only.
