Rape accused behind the bar swiftly : SP

Shimla Police brought accused of  rape to book and behind the bar swiftly, Shimla Superintendent of Police Dr Monica Bhutunguru said in a press release issued here today. She said that Shimla Police known for fearless fair integrity case succeed to convict an rape accused for one year rigorous imprisonment & 5000 / – fine in attempt to Rape Case. She said that  FIR was registered  on May 27, 2021 Under section  376,341 , 504 &, 511 IPC  at Police station Nankhari .  The investigation of the case was conducted swiftly.  After completion of the investigation, chargesheet was filed in the court.  After completion of court proceedings the accused have been convicted with one year of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs.  5000/-.
