Rajendra Rana is doing politics to serve money, not public service: Sukhu
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that former Sujanpur MLA Rajendra Rana is doing politics not for public service but for money service. The former MLA has been sold in the political market of BJP, in the last 14 months, he used to come to me for environment clearance of his partnership’s crusher located at Naina Tikkar in Sirmaur and to get the road constructed for his hotel in Rajgarh, not for the public. Former Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal was defeated due to political conspiracy. He used to contest elections from Hamirpur, and a camp of BJP got him a ticket from Sujanpur. Dhumal lost the election and Hamirpur district did not get priority in the previous BJP government. The Chief Minister said these things while addressing election public meetings near ITI in Jol Palahi, Khairi Goshala, Kakkar, Ootpur, Uhal, Patnaun, and Sarakad of the Sujanpur assembly constituency.
During his stormy tour, the Chief Minister appealed to vote for Congress candidate Captain Ranjit Rana and Lok Sabha candidate Satpal Raizada in the Sujanpur assembly constituency. Sukhwinder Singh said that the earlier mistake made by the people of the Sujanpur assembly constituency has to be rectified. As the Chief Minister, I asked the former MLA several times to visit Sujanpur, but he kept refusing. Even during the disaster, they did not call me. Understanding the plight of the people, I visited the disaster-affected areas. Rs 8 crore was given to the Sujanpur area in the disaster. Rs 100 crore has been given for rural roads. The sellout MLA kept talking about his crusher and hotel but never raised the issue of installing barbed wire in the fields of the people of the Sujanpur assembly constituency. Our government will spend Rs 50 crore to install barbed wire to protect people’s agriculture.
The Chief Minister said the public should ask the sold MLA why he did not come to his house and meet the people of Sujanpur for a month after being sold. The Chief Minister said that the sellable MLAs were wandering from door to door because they had to take the third installment from BJP leaders in the name of toppling the government. Congress candidate from Sujanpur, Captain Ranjeet neither wants to set up a crusher nor become a land mafia. All he has to do is find and solve problems. While serving in the army, the Captain bravely faced enemy bullets on the borders of the country. He is honest and being from a poor family, he knows the pain and problems of the people.
Former MLA Rajendra Rana has sold his morality. What he wanted was a briefcase full of BJP stuff, not respect. There is no threat to my Chief Minister’s chair. This fight is yours, to save your vote. Between tainted and spotless. Those who are sold cannot be true servants. Dishonest people will come again and again and make false promises but do not fall for their words. The fate and picture of Sujanpur will be changed during the tenure of three and a half years of the government.
The Chief Minister said that Rajendra Rana does not have the feeling of service in his mind, all the money for the organization in the name of which he pretends to serve, comes from Baddi and Ludhiana. A sellout MLA does not invest a single penny from his pocket in public service. BJP workers are also requested not to vote for the sellable MLA and to vote for the Chief Minister to save the pride of Hamirpur. Hamirpur district is my home, I will leave no stone unturned in its development.
During this, MLA and working Congress President Chandrashekhar, MLA Suresh Kumar, Assembly candidate Captain Ranjit Singh, KCC Bank Chairman Kuldeep Pathania, former CPS Anita Verma, District President Suman Bharti, Block President Rajendra Verma, former District President Naresh Thakur, Colonel Vidhi Chand Lagwal. , Arun Thakur, etc. were present.
