Rainfall in high reaches , Bodies of three trekkers recovered

Deputy Commissioner Kinnaur Apoorva Devgan said that three trekkers died while coming to Sangla of Kinnuar district from Janglik of Rohru subdivision were traping at Bhutna pass . Rescue team brought down thethree bodies to Kilva area of district after passing Bhura Kunda and Janglik area. The bodies would be handed over to eight other trekkers resuced by the ITBP on Oct 25 after the postmortem.
The deceased were identified as Deepak Rau(58) son of Narayan Rau, Rajinder Bhal Chander Pathak( 65) son of Bal Chander Pathak and Ashok Madhukar (64) son of Madhukar.
Deputy Commissioner said that two trekkers missing from Oct 18 in 17000 ft high Lamkhaga pass in Kinnuar could not traced out as four to five centimeter snow mounted on the pass and temperature went downt severaldegrees down the normal. If weather would be conducive the administeration would launch campgain beforeincrasing winter in the state.
The rain lashed few places in the state as Shimla had five mm rain, tourist resort Kufri3.5 mm and Palampur in Kangra 2.2 mm, and Jubberhati 1.2 mm.
