Punjab government implemented old pension scheme, only AAP will give old pension scheme to Himachal employees: Surjit Thakur
State President of Aam Aadmi Party Surjit Thakur said in a press conference in Shimla that the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has implemented old pension, fulfilling the demand of lakhs of employees. Due to which the employees of Himachal are now convinced that only Aam Aadmi Party can give OPS. Surjit Thakur said that the Aam Aadmi Party does what it says. Surjit Thakur thanked Convener Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for implementing OPS in Punjab and said that the employees of Himachal used to say that when OPS is not implemented in Punjab, how will they do in Himachal. Now the Chief Minister of Punjab has implemented the Old Pension Scheme for the employees. Surjit Thakur has appealed to lakhs of employees of Himachal to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party in the elections. After the formation of the government, the old pension scheme will be implemented first.

Surjit Thakur said that by abolishing the Old Pension Scheme, the New Pension Scheme was implemented by the BJP Central Government and the Congress Government of Himachal Pradesh. The New Pension Scheme is the biggest scam in the country in which the money earned honestly by the employees is being scammed. 10 percent of the employees and 14 percent of the government are put in a company named NSDL, which has no idea where its headquarter is. Employees’ money is invested in State Bank, LIC and UTI. From there this money is given to the people. With this money, the common man does not get loans, but the industrialist friends of the BJP government are given loans worth crores. When the debt becomes more, the BJP government waives off the loans of its industrialist friends. This is a scam game worth crores. Now the game of New Pension Scheme has stopped in Punjab. If the Aam Aadmi Party government is formed in Himachal, the scam will be stopped on the honest earnings of the employees here and the employees will be given the benefit of OPS. Surjit Thakur said that NSDL is a data operating system. If in the morning it is showing 18 lakhs in the employee’s account, then by evening it becomes 8 lakhs. If the stock market goes down, the money in the account decreases. The BJP government wants to make the employees business men. Earlier you saw that the BJP government imposed four black laws to double the income of the farmers. The farmers kept on agitation for 13 months and then the black law had to be withdrawn. On the same lines, the business of New Pension Scheme will be closed. Kejriwal had said that the money that has gone to the employees of NSDL should be returned. Kejriwal’s thinking is also that the employees’ pie will be returned. The struggle will continue and this resolution will be fulfilled in 2024. Surjit Thakur said that Rs 6600 crore of Himachal employees have gone to NSDL. This year 11 hundred crore will go to NSDL. If this money was in the state, it would lead to development in the state. The liability of employees’ pension is close to 4 billion. The government of Himachal is giving Rs 11 hundred crore to NSDL. This hoax is going on and the back door is going to the industrialists.
Surjit Thakur has appealed to the employees to vote for Aam Aadmi Party in Himachal elections. All the employees of Himachal will be given their rights back. OPS will be implemented within a month as soon as the AAP government is formed in the state. With this, all 11 guarantees of Kejriwal will be fulfilled.
