Prof. Chander Kumar urges GoI to release pending Rs. 50 crore of Aayushman card holders
Agriculture Minister Prof. Chander Kumar called on Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Mansukh Mandaviya at New Delhi today and discussed various issues related to Dr. Rajender Prasad Medical College (RPMC), Tanda.
Prof. Chander Kumar requested the Union Minister to release the pending payment of Rs. 50 crore of Aayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojna card holders at Dr. RPMC, Tanda. He also apprised Union Health Minister about the requirement of Lithotripsy Machine in Uro surgery department, Tesla MRI machines, PET Scan, Laparoscopic instruments, latest 3D Ultrasound machines, Brachytherapy machine for cancer patients, Linear accelerator for cancer patients, Anesthesia workstations, Cath Lab for Cardiology Department and Fibro scan for Hepatology.
The Minister alongwith MLA Shahpur Kewal Pathania urged the Union Minister for sanctioning of trauma centre at Shahpur in district Kangra. The MLA apprised him that Shahpur constituency falls on National Highway and in case of any accident, such a centre will prove beneficial in providing timely medical facilities.
The Union Minister assured to release the pending payment at the earliest. He also gave a patient hearing to other demands and assured all possible help for the same.
