Pratibha urges party workers to come forward unitedly for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections

State Congress President and MP Pratibha Singh has asked the party workers to come forward unitedly for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. She has said that Congress is very strong in the state and due to this strength we have won the assembly elections after winning three assembly by-elections including Mandi parliamentary by-elections in the state. Giving full credit for this victory to the workers, she said that now they will have to fight for the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year.
Addressing a meeting of party workers in Reckong Peo today, Pratibha Singh said that she has to give a befitting reply to any false propaganda by the BJP. She said that the BJP government at the Center is discriminating against the state. She said that such a big disaster occurred in the state but the Modi government at the Center did not provide any help to the state. She said that today’s rising inflation and unemployment in the country are the result of BJP’s policies and dictatorial decisions.
Pratibha Singh said that the development of tribal areas has been the contribution of the Congress government. Former Chief Minister Late Virbhadra Singh had made special schemes and provisions of a special budget for the development of these areas.
During this, Revenue and Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi in his address remembered the late Virbhadra Singh and said that the development of tribal areas has been the contribution of Virbhadra Singh. She said that now the MP of this area, Pratibha Singh is taking his work forward.
Criticizing the BJP, Jagat Singh Negi said that even in this hour of disaster, it is trying to mislead people by playing its politics and lying. He said that the Congress government of the state is providing full help to all the people affected by the disaster. Expressing his gratitude for the valuable support given to the Congress Party in the past, he also urged Congress to give its full majority in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
In their address to the meeting, Congress General Secretary, District Incharge Mahendra Stan, and District President Umesh Negi also called upon the party workers to unite for the strength of the party.
