Pratibha Singh expressed happiness over the Centre’s approval for the construction of Jalori Jot connecting Rampur to Kullu

State Congress President Pratibha Singh expressed happiness over the Centre’s approval for the construction of Jalori Jot connecting Rampur to Kullu and praised the Public Works Minister for his efforts for its construction. She said that former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh had dreamt of constructing Jalori Jot and he has fulfilled it. For this, she congratulated the people of Mandi parliamentary constituency.
Pratibha Singh said that during the Lok Sabha elections, Vikramaditya Singh had told the people of Mandi parliamentary constituency that construction of Jalori Jot tunnel was his first priority, which he has completed. She said that the promptness with which he is working with the support of the Centre in the construction and maintenance of roads, meeting central leaders and getting money for the maintenance and construction of roads is very commendable. Getting money sanctioned from the Centre for the maintenance and metalling of old roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Path Yojana is also a commendable work.
Pratibha Singh has said that the BJP leaders of the state have been trying to mislead the people by doing only politics. The previous BJP government, despite claiming to be a double engine government, did not show any interest in the construction of Jalori Jot tunnel. If it had shown any interest, this tunnel would have been completed today. She said that the BJP should contribute to the development of the state and support the state government by meeting its central leaders.
