Pratibha has asked party officials of Kangra, Hamirpur and Solan to contest the elections in full coordination

State Congress President and former MP Pratibha Singh has said that the BJP is making baseless allegations against the Congress government in view of its defeat in three assembly by-elections. She said that the Congress has full faith in democracy and follows its decorum.

Pratibha Singh said in a statement here today that BJP does not talk about any issues in the state. She said that they should give the true information to the people about why assembly by-elections were held in the state. She said that what was the reason that BJP tried to destabilize the Congress government which had full majority in the state.

Pratibha Singh has also completely rejected the claim of BJP in which its leaders are claiming to form the BJP government in the state after July 13. She said that the number of Congress MLAs is still more than the absolute majority and after the election results are declared on July 13, this number is going to increase to 41.

Pratibha Singh has asked the party district presidents and officials of Kangra, Hamirpur and Solan to contest the elections in full coordination and mutual cooperation with all the officials of Dehra, Hamirpur and Nalagarh blocks. She has also asked these leaders to give a complete report of the field so that any election deficiency can be fulfilled in time. She has said that strict monitoring should be done at every booth so that BJP cannot influence the election process in any way.

Pratibha Singh has said that she will soon undertake a detailed tour of these three assembly constituencies. She has asked the party workers to put forward the party’s policies and decisions before the people with full strength and unity. She said that full information about historical decisions like restoring the old pension of employees in the state and issuing honorarium of Rs 1500 every month to women should be publicized among the people.
