Positivity rate of Sirmaur mount up to ten

The positivity rate of Covid infection mounted above ten percent in Sirmaurdistrict as corona cases are increasing rapidly causing the concern for the district administration,deputy commissioner told us
Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur Ram Kumar Gautam said that large number of people are being found positive for the corona virus since last few days.  He said that till January 3, there was only one active case of corona in Sirmour district, but at present the number of active cases of corona has gone upto 419.
He said that positivity rate jumped upto ten percent in the district till Wednesday . The way it was rapidly increasingcausing concern for administration to control the its infections.
DC said that instructions being made by the state government are being followed moreover restrictions have been imposed in Sirmour district,
He said that the market is operating between 900hrs to 1800 hrs only and night curfew is imposedand necessary guidelines have also been issued to restaurant and dhaba operators to follow the covid norms.
  The DC said that additional police and home guards have been deployed at 17 points of interest in Sirmaur district and appeals are being made to all the people passing through the border area to follow the COVID-19 protocol.
