Poor managed traffic trap commuters in long Jam

This capital city is facing frequent trafic jam due to poorly managed movement of traffic in peak tourism seasons causing lot of trouble to the commuters espesially Employees and students who are getting late daily after trapping in long traffic jam . On Monday two faced three hours long jams from 9 am to 12 pm as long traffic jams soreads from Victory tunnel to Chakkar and Victory tunnel to ISBT. Students

had to face problems due to the jam from St Edward’s, Tarahall, Auckland School, Victory Tunnel to Old Bus Stand, Lakkar Bazar, Khalini Chowk and Sanjauli, a large number of vehicles got stuck in the jam. Police was always slow to clear jams as it took charge in the city and made efforts to clear the jam after entire town was already choked.  SP Shimla Monika Bhatungru said that efforts are being made to open the jam.  The concerned officials have been directed to clear the jam at the earliest.
