Police question paper leak case: Four more arrest on Sunday
Special Investigation Team of Himachal Pradesh Police claimed today that four more accused were arrested in state police question paper leak scam increasing number of arrested accused’s to 13 in the investigation. An FIR registered on May 5 2022 as questions paper of state police leaked in Kangra district forcing the recruitment police to lodge case in its own police station at Gaggal under section 420, 120-B IPC. Now a SIT constituted for the investigation the case claimed on Sunday that its probe being done in scientific and professional manner. Four more persons arrested today are Vishal(23) s/o Kanwarjeet r/o VPO Gharana Sub-Tehsil Dheera, District Kangra, Vijay Kishore(47) alias Arun s/o Ganga Dhar r/o VPO Hajipur Tehsil Mukerian District Hosiyarpur (PB) at present House No 408, Bharat Nagar, Pathankot, Vipin(37) s/o Jaswant Singh r/o Kailash Nagar Ward No. 01, PO Nakroh, Tehsil Ghanari, Unaand Narinder Kumar s/o Chander Bhan(49) r/o Keshav Nagar Ibrahimpur, Delhi-36Alternate address- A-59, Sarda Nagar, Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Meanwhile state unit of CPI(M) demanded judicial probe in the question paper leak case. Shimla district party secretary Sanjay Chauhan said that list of question paper leak is not ending as during the state government, JBT, Patwari, University teacher, state police and state JOA questions paper were leaked. He said that candidates found indulged in copying and questions paper leak case in Arki, Mandi and Kangra. He said that Government couldn’t play with the career of students. He said that recent Police question leak affected 74000 unemployed youth and eroded their faith on the free and fair examination. He said that police didn’t have system to conduct the recruitment and posting examination should be conducted by the public service commissions.
