Police personnel gave tips to the children of Peeran School regarding road safety
The students of Government Senior Secondary School, Peeran, were taken on a tour of the First Police Armed Corps, Junga, on Wednesday. Where the officers of the police battalion gave the children information about road safety. Principal of the school, Mahesh Sharma said that during this special trip, 25 students from class 9th to 12th participated. He said that every person must have information about road safety. Due to a lack of knowledge about road safety, many road accidents happen every day in which hundreds of people lose their lives every year. Mahesh Sharma said that the special objective of this trip has been to impart road safety to the children so that they can take the message of road safety to their homes and neighborhoods.
Teacher Sheela Sharma, who went on a trip with the students, said that the officers of the 1st Police Battalion gave the children detailed information about road safety. Which, apart from always walking on the left side of the road, children below the age of 18 years should not drive any type of vehicle and under the Motor Vehicles Act, a driving license should be made only after completing the age of 18 years. Listening to mobile while driving, being intoxicated, and driving at high speed is illegal and the driver can be fined for this. He said that if a driver drives under the influence of alcohol or listens to a mobile phone, then it should be informed to the police and action can be taken against such a driver under the Motor Vehicles Act. During this, DP Balvindra Thakur, and physical teacher Manoj Kumar were also present.
