PM Modi considers Himachal as his second home: Parmar

 Senior BJP leader and former Assembly Speaker Vipin Parmar said that today Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a big gift to Himachal Pradesh, it is our good fortune that Prime Minister Narendra Modi considers Himachal Pradesh as his second home. Today, through virtual medium, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a gift of about Rs 7000 crore to Himachal Pradesh. Among these, Hamirpur Bypass, Sihuni to Rajol section, NH-154 (1 package), Thanpuri to Paraur section, NH-154 (1 package) are the major focus areas and it is also a big gift to Kangra Parliamentary Constituency. All the routes will prove beneficial to Kangra, Hamirpur, Mandi and Shimla parliamentary constituencies.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi focuses on holistic development which means overall development, which ensures creation of development in every corner of Himachal Pradesh.

He told that Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the Kiratpur-Nerchowk four lane from New Delhi till Pung. This program was heard at Peterhof Shimla.

Rs 4,759 crore has been spent in building this four lane. The company took about four years to build the 69 kilometer long fourlane. In this, the length of green field is 47.753 kilometers, that of brown field is 21.45 kilometers. On August 14, 2019, the Brown Field tender was awarded for Rs 249 crore. Work began on November 27, 2019, and was completed on April 30, 2023. The green field tender was awarded on October 16, 2020 and work started on August 12, 2021 and was completed on June 7, 2023. Five tunnels have been built in this project. Among these, the largest tunnel is Garamora 1,800 meter, Tehra Tunnel 1,265 meter, Bhawana Tunnel 740 meter, Tunhu Tunnel 550 meter and the smallest tunnel Baghchhal is 465 meter. All tunnel double lanes are ready. The tender process is going on for the construction of four parallel tunnels. The work of parallel tunnel of Garamora Tunnel is going on. That work will also be completed soon. A total of 37 bridges have been built in the project. Of these, there are 22 big and 15 small bridges.
