Pleasant weather in HP Tourist resorts witness increase in footfall
All the tourist resorts in Himachal Pradesh witnessed increased in the footfall on Thursday after rain showers and partly cloudy weather and respite from heatwave as weather was pleasant. The tourists are moving toward Shimla, Manali and Dalhousie in the peak summer season to save them from sweltering heat wave in the plain. Maximum temperature of Shimla and Manali was 24 degrees which was normal and Kalpa and Dalhousie was 21. Keylong (Lahaul Spiti ) 17.5. The abode of Tibetan Spiritual leader Dharmshla, Solan and Nahan(Sirmaur( were 30, Una was 37.5 , Bilaspur 36 hamirpur 34.7, Kangra and Mandi 33. Light summer shower lashed few places as Dharmshala had 15 mm rain, Una 14.2 mm and Daalhousie 13and Naina Devi(Bilaspur) 8.4 mm. It was partly cloudy in the state in many places and light clouds plummet the night temperature. The Met Office forecast that during the first and second week the weather would be mainly normal and heatwave would confined to lower hills but Mercury would also remained normal.
