People power won, money power lost: Trilok Suryavanshi

Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee Central War Room Media Team Spokesperson and Himachal Pradesh Kisan Congress State Joint Coordinator Trilok Suryavanshi said that the victory of Congress in the assembly by-elections in Himachal is the victory of Sukhu government’s popularity and public welfare schemes. He said that Sukhu government took a historic decision as soon as it came to power and implemented ambitious schemes like Sukhashray. Under this scheme, about 4000 helpless children of the state will be Children of the State till the age of 27. And the state government will bear the expenses of education of these children till the age of 27. He said that the implementation of this scheme has sent a message of sensitivity and humanity of the government towards the people not only in the state but in the entire country.
Trilok Suryavanshi said that the Sukhu government has fulfilled five out of ten guarantees in just one and a half years. He said that the Congress government has always been an employee-friendly government. Sukhu government gave a gift to the employees by restoring the old pension as soon as it came to power.
Trilok Suryavanshi said that BJP had ridiculed the mandate by bribing the representatives elected by the people but the enlightened people of the state, in view of the welfare decisions and schemes taken by the Sukhu government during the one and a half year tenure, have given a befitting reply to BJP by re-electing the Congress candidates.
Trilok Suryavanshi said that the people of the state ignored the propaganda and money power of the BJP and voted for the public welfare policies and welfare schemes of the Sukhu government in these by-elections. He said that the mandate of the people is supreme. The people had earlier also made our 40 candidates win and now again the number of MLAs has been increased to 40. Trilok Suryavanshi warned the BJP leadership that the mandate of the people should never be ridiculed by money power but the mandate should be accepted or else the people give a befitting reply.
