Patrakar-Parivar Milan programme organized by Vishwa Samvad Kendra Shimla

A Patrakar-Parivar Milan programme was organized by Vishwa Samvad Kendra Shimla at Saraswati Vidyamandir Him Rashmi Complex Vikasnagar today.

While presiding over the function, Director, Information and Public Relations Harbans Singh Brascon said that a Journalist works 24X7 throughout the year to collect the information from various sources and it reflects everyday in News. The hard work of a journalist behind the news that we see or read day and night, cannot be done without the help of the family.

He said that in the age of information, the importance of news has increased a lot. Every person wants to know what is happening around him and all over the world. In such a situation, the role of a journalist increases significantly. In continuous flow of information, media personnel should provide real facts to the society so that right information could be extracted.

All India IT organizer of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari Hardik Mehta was the keynote speaker. He stressed on doing journalism for the whole society and the nation.

Various sports competitions were also organized for journalists and their families at Saraswati Vidyamandir Him Rashmi Complex Vikasnagar, in which winners and participants were honored with prizes and mementos.

Earlier the program was inaugurated with lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. Head of Vishwa Samvad Kendra Dr. Dalel Singh Thakur honored the chief guest Harbans Singh Brascon and Vice President Yadvinder Singh Chauhan honored the keynote speaker Hardik Mehta.

Secretary, Vishwa Samvad Kendra, Shimla, Moti Lal expressed his gratitude to the chief guest and keynote speaker along with the journalists and their families present.

Additional Director, Information and Public Relations Aarti Gupta, was also present on this occasion as a special guest. About 100 people including media and their families participated in sports competitions and also had a banquet.
