Partition case pending for 35 years resolved in two months
Milap Chand, a resident of Kanjiyan expressed special gratitude to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu during the ‘Sarkaar Gaon Ke Dwar’ program at Kanjiyan in Bhoranj assembly constituency. He has an appreciation for Lok Adalats and said that his partition case was pending for the last 35 years and was resolved in the Revenue Lok Adalats in just two months.
Disaster affected Meena Devi and Rajesh Kumar who termed the Chief Minister as ‘Messiah’ and thanked Sh. Sukhu for a grant of rupees three lakh each, as the first installment for the construction of their house, which was destroyed during the monsoon. The Chief Minister assured them of the second installment of Rs. 4 lakh soon.
Navjot Sharma, a beneficiary of the Mukhya Mantri Sukh-Aashraya Yojana, (MMSAY) while thanking Sh. Sukhu said that till now she has received Rs 16 thousand as pocket money under the scheme which enabled her to pursue higher education. The Chief Minister said that the state government would bear the entire expenses of her education. Financial assistance of rupees two lakh will also be given to her for marriage assured the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister encouraged another beneficiary under SAY Abhishek to start his start-up or other project for which financial assistance of rupees two lahks will be provided to him under the scheme.
