Parents of police constables shows placards to Nadda, DGP order to hold enquiries
Himachal Pradesh Police constables’ family members today protested in front of BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda at Lahuni helped in Bilaspur for allegedly indiscriminating number of constables over the payscale anomalies.
After the protest, state DGP Sanjay Kundu today ordered to hold an enquiry on the breach of Security and Law & Order arrangements during the visit National President of BJP , Union Cabinet Ministers and Chief Minister at Bilaspur on Dec 5, 2021, (Sunday).
Adl DGP ( Law & Order Mr Ashok Tewari would hold the enquiry into the facts and circumstances with respect to violations of the Yellow Book and other security guidelines in vogue .
DGP directed the Mr Tewari to visit the spot and submit his report with recommendations with regard to action to be taken and guidance to prevent recurrence of breaches in security and law & order arrangements for future VIP visits.
Adl DGP would submit his report by 1100hrs on Dec 7, 2021 .
DGP also directed the SP Bilaspur to submit a detailed report on the incident by 1000hrs on Dec 6, 2021 to him.
An FIR has already been registered with respect to the incident that happened at the exit of Lahuni helipad where some family members of police constabulary showed playcards in support of their demands infront of National President of the BJP.
As it has been mentioned earlier that DGP also decided to constitute a four Member police committee on the demand of police constables who are seeking regularisation of their services and ending anomalies in their payscale.
