All India Congress Committee spokesperson and MLA from Theog Kuldeep Singh Rathore has said that the orchardists will never forgive the BJP for the firing on them in Kotgarh on this day, 22 July 1990. He has said that the wounds of the firing that the then BJP government had done on the orchardists are still in the hearts of the orchardists, which can never be healed.
Remembering the three gardeners Govind Singh, Hira Singh and Tarachand who were martyred by police bullets in Kotgarh today on 22 July 1990, Kuldeep Singh Rathore and other Congress leaders and gardeners of the area paid their tributes to them for their sacrifice.
Rathore said that a martyr’s memorial will be built in Kotgarh at a cost of seven lakh rupees in memory of these three gardeners. Govind Singh’s family was specially present during this time.
