Oppn accuse govt and police to discharge its duty

Himachal Pradesh Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur said today that state police beefed up security along the porous borders of neighbour states to check and avert Prokhalistan activities in Himachal Pradesh after incidents of defacing boundary walls and gate of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Complex Tapovan at Dharmshala on Sunday by some miscreants who are reported to be Tourists. Returning from Dharmshala from his two days visit Mr Thakur was speaking to Media person after reaching Oakover here today. He said that no one is arrested sofar however SITs is investigating the matter and culprits would be brought to book soon as FIR has been lodged against them under various sections of IPC and Unlawful Prevention Activity Act (UPAA). He said that deployment was increased along border district to stop entry of such people so that they could not indulged in Tapovan like misadventures again.He said that there is no need to alert or seek assistance of Central Agencies as state have confidence on the SIT which would do thorough probe. He said that after this security breech at Dharmshala security deployment and vigilance have been increased and would be reviewed by the state police. He said that in police questions paper scams state police is near to real culprits and anyone found responsible in it would be in Police custody soon. He said that there was no option to restore the faith of hardworking candidate in fairness of Government so the examination has been cancelled. He said that SIT is very close to complete the investigation and those found responsible would be behind the bar soon.Meanwhile Congress state president Pratibha Singh said here today that defacing Wall of Vidhan sabha complex at Dharmshala is attack on the organ of a constitutional body state government and police failed to protect the sensitive places where deployment remained high. She said that police personnel deployed on the Vidhan Sabha Complex should be on their toe to protect such places and the lapse in their duty couldn’t be pardoned. She said that Jai Ram Thakur Government failed to avert Prokhalistan activities in the state and it is responsible for the breech of security and lapse occurred. She said that Police question paper leak also indicate that state police is not able to discharge its duty honestly as police was itself organising written examination and paper leak occurred due to active convience of its official who should not be protected. Ms Singh said Youth of state is worried about their careers during this government as questions paper leak and delay in results of examination is declining moral of students. She said that state government remained fail to discharge its duty as the true custodian of constitution and its organ today created state of anarchy in Himachal Pradesh which is known for Soical harmony and peace.
