On completion of one year of restoration of OPS Employees Federation honors retired employees
On completion of one year of restoration of the old pension, the new pension scheme was honored by the Employees Federation to the retired employees in the entire state.
On this occasion, State President Pradeep Thakur was present in Joginder Nagar, and in his presence, retired employees were honored in Joginder Nagar. He said that the employees who used to come under NPS and after the restoration of pension by the state government, have started getting the old pension, and all of them are being honored by the organization. In the first cabinet meeting on January 13 last year, the state government had given the old pension. The restoration of the pension was approved.
Within one year, notification regarding the restoration of old pensions has been issued in the state and more than 800 employees have started receiving old pensions, due to which there is great enthusiasm among the retired employees. Everyone has thanked the Chief Minister of the state Shri Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu ji. Pradeep Thakur said that under the leadership of Shri Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu ji, the way the state government took the major decision of pension restoration in the first cabinet, is truly a decision worth remembering in the history of employees. The employees will always be indebted to him. He said that pension has been completely restored in the state, an example of which is being seen in the entire state today. In Joginder Nagar, Mrs. Anita Narang, who has retired from the Education Department and was getting a pension of Rs 2212 under NPS, has now started getting a pension of ₹ 30000 after restoration of the old pension. He said that Shri Shiv Charan ji, who had earlier retired under NPS, used to get a pension of ₹ 6200. After the restoration of the old pension, he has started getting a pension of ₹ 34000. While thanking the state government for taking this historic decision, he said that the state In honor of the government, soon similar functions will be organized in all the districts of the state in which the honorable Chief Minister and ministers will be honored and the state government will be thanked.
