NSS volunteers conducted cleanliness drive in Bagri and Khadli

During the residential camp of National Service Scheme which has been going on for the last five days in Government Excellent Senior Secondary School Chiyog, on Saturday, the volunteers gave the message of cleanliness by starting a cleanliness drive in the nearby villages of Bagdi and Khadli.
Retired centre head teacher Usha Verma attended the camp function as the chief guest. She herself informed the students about the benefits of National Service Scheme. She said that through NSS, a sense of national unity and integrity and social service is inculcated in the children.
During the camp, regional coordinator Shashi Kant Prajapati from Manav Kalyan Seva Samiti Chaupal gave the message of avoiding social evils to the students as a resource person. The students cleaned the school premises. Apart from this, Sohan Chandel, as a psychological resource person, told the students various ways to avoid drug addiction and also told them ways to relieve mental stress. Principal Sandeep Kumar Sharma thanked all the resource persons and said that the main objective of this camp is to make the students self-reliant. This camp is being organized under the supervision of program officer Rakesh Thakur and Vijayalakshmi Sharma.
