Now China is more flexible but no point to return China : Dalai Lama
Tibetan spiritual leader , the 14th Dalai Lama who could be called living apostle of peace in the world expressed positive vibes to end the prevailing friction between India and China on India-Tibet and India-China International border. while talking to media persons Monday at Kangra airport in North West state of Himachal Pradesh in India, before leaving for Delhi on way to Bodhgaya said he prefers India as best place for him and Kangra is Pandit Nehru’s best choice for him and there was no point in returning to China. Replying to a media query over fresh tension between PRC Army and Indian Border Forces, at Tawang, Dalai Lama said, “Now things … Generally speaking, are improving, I think in Europe and Africa and also in Asia. Now China is also more flexible but there is no point to return to China. I prefer India, best place and Kangra Pandit Nehru choice for him.” Dalai Lama said this place is my permanent residence. He described it as very right to stay at Dharamshala. The Dalai Lama this morning departed for Kangra airport at around 10:30 am from his residence in Thekchen Choling and was greeted by Tibetan devotees on his way to the airport. The Dalai Lama left Dharamshala for a visit to Delhi and Bihar. Dalai Lama is scheduled to stay in Delhi for two-three days and then he will go to Bodhgya in Bihar for spiritual teachings and other events. Apart from few meetings and events in Delhi, the Dalai Lama would have a health check up. He said he will have a health check up for his physical condition but he has otherwise no problem. He said he had a little pain in his left arm near the shoulder but there was no other problem. As per his schedule, His Holiness is first visiting Gurgaon Salwan Education Trust, a school near Delhi, on December 21, which he had previously visited in 2017. From December 29-31, the Dalai Lama will give a three-day teaching on Nagarjuna’s “Commentary on Bodhichitta” at the Kalachakra Teaching Ground in Bodhgaya, Bihar. On January 1, 2023 the Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama will attend a Long Life Prayer offered to him by the Geluk Tibetan Buddhist Tradition at the Kalachakra Teaching Ground.
