No discussion in change of leadership in Himachal : CM
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur who returned from National Capital on
Wednesday said that there no discussion took place with BJP central leadership over changing
of the leadership of Himachal Government.
Terming the media reports and statement of Congress leaders that BJP has decided to change six
chief minister instead of five Mr Thakur said that during and before his recent visit political conjectures
is being made has no iota of truth .
Interacting with the media persons Mr Thakur said that “There is no such issue or discussion
during my two days stay at national capital and all speculations are figments of imagination of his political
adversaries. ”
Congress leaders in the state during Jan Akrosh rally Dhallpur ground in Kullu said that
Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat likely to be go for poll next year together after change in the
CM in Gujarat now it is turn of Himachal Pradsesh.
Congress leaders also speculating about Mr Thakur’s reshuffle in the the state over his
quick visits to NCR with in the gap of two to three days fueling the rumors.
Pertinent to mention here that Congress leader in state legislative assembly Mukesh Agnihotri and MLA
of rural Shimla Mr Vikramaditya recently took jib over the CM Thakur’s quick visit to Delhi in the interval of
a couple of days.
CM told media person on his return from Delhi that his meeting was pre-decided 25 days
s ago and he met senior party leaders including national BJP chief JP Nadda during his visit on
Tuesday.
“During the meeting, discussions were held on 2022 assembly polls and by-elections to 3 assembly
seats and one Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh.
Discussions were also held on the future roadmap for the state government and on various programs
that would be held for Swarn Jayanti celebrations of the statehood of Himachal,” he said, adding he had
positive and constructive discussions with party leadership.
Justifying his quick tour to NCR CM said that he along with Speaker of state Assembly Mr Vipin Parmar
to invite the President of India to address a special session of HP assembly which he had accorded gracefully.
In addition, a Swarnim Rath Yatra will be organized in all 68 assembly segments of the state to highlight the
development journey of Himachal and role of all sections of the society amongst the people of the state, the CM said.
He also lauded CRI Kasauli lab where Johnson & Johnson’s Covid drug would l be tested before to rollout
on the world level beside this other labs and pharma houses are contributing to various level of Resarch and Development
to tackle the Covid pandemic.
Sources in the BJP said that CM visit to National capital region is about the internal or intelligence reports which indicating that parties performance would not be party favor in the all 17 assembly constituencies under Mandi parliamentary and three others assembly constituencies where the bye election is schedule after the festival seasons.
Party could not affords to loss any of the seat in all 20 assembly segments as the bye-polll would be reflect the trends of one third of the state assembly seats. The BJP have got set back in the Municipal Corporations electionsas Congress won Solan and Palampur MC polls recently .
Jai Ram Government have won the last Lok Sabha elections and bye-election in Pachhad and Dharmshala assemblybut party is apprehensive about the repeating of victories in the poll on the basis of internal and intelligence reports.
