Nine die and eight sustain injuries in Himachal road accidents

 Nine died and eight others sustained injuries in separate road accidents that occurred on Monday in Shimla and Mandi district, a state district management authority spokesperson said.

A car fell in a deep gorge near Magrugala at Janjehli Police Station at 1745 hrs on Monday killing a couple of three persons and two sustained injuries. The injured were hospitalized at Janjehli Hospital after the mishap.

The deceased are identified as Madan Lal (60), Jayanti Devi,( 60) w/o deceased Madan Lal, vill. Gadoun, P.O  Sangalwada, Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi and. Bhim Singh s/o Dharam Chand, vill. Chimti P.O Lambathach.

As stated earlier Six Kashmiri workers also died and each other sustained injuries in a vehicle mishap that occurred at Kudharghat in the Sunni Sub Division of Shimla district today. 

As per reports received here, six persons lost their lives while six others sustained injuries in the accident. According to SP Shimla Sanjeev Gandhi, a pickup (HP 63-023) carrying twelve people met with an accident in Kutharghat Jolog Sunni about 38 km from here.

Four died on the spot 4 and two people were taken to the hospital.

The deceased were identified as, Ghulam Asan Gorsi(43),  Shabir Ahmed (19) belonged to Kundwaltingunad,  Gulgram Jammu, Farid Didar(24), Talib (23), Gulzar(30), and Mustaq(30) all belonged to Kulgam of J & K.
