Neeraj Thakur became president of SMC Peeran for the second time
The new School Management Committee of Government Senior Secondary School Peeran was constituted on Friday. In which Neeraj Thakur has been elected for the post of SMC President for the second time. The SMC meeting started under the chairmanship of Principal Mahesh Sharma in which no consensus could be reached for the post of President. The Principal completed all the formalities to conduct voting for the fair selection of the post of President. In which two candidates Neeraj Thakur and Sarla Sharma presented their candidature. Amidst a tough competition, Neeraj Thakur got 19 votes and Sarla got 14 votes, that is, Neeraj Thakur won by five votes. The Principal declared Neeraj Thakur as the President of the School Management Committee. Apart from this, Ranjana Thakur, Kiran Thakur, Vidya Chauhan, Sushma Kaushal, Veena Devi, Nisha Devi, Meera Devi, Kuldeep Thakur, Rajendra, Nandlal Premi, Jagdish Sharma, Devdatt Sharma, Guman Singh and Indra Singh have been nominated as executive members of the SMC. Apart from this, teachers Meera Parihar, Sheela Sharma and Rahul Sharma have been included as government members and local Panchayat head Kiran Sharma has also been included as a member.
Thereafter, in the meeting of the newly elected executive, the principal expressed hope that the newly elected SMC executive will live up to the hopes and aspirations of the parents and teachers. President Neeraj Thakur said that the matter will be raised with the government to fill the vacant posts of various categories in the school. Apart from this, efforts will be made to create basic facilities in the school and to create a new post of computer teacher so that children can get knowledge of computers in the IT era.
