National Pension Scheme Employees Association Karnataka calls on CM Sukhu
Members of the National Pension Scheme Employees Association Karnataka called on Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in Bengaluru today to express their gratitude for the restoration of the old pension scheme in Himachal Pradesh.
Led by President Shantharama Teja, the association members thanked the Chief Minister for his efforts in favor of government employees since the formation of the Congress government in the state. They expressed hope that the old pension scheme would be reinstated in Karnataka soon, as now the Congress government had been established there as well.
The Chief Minister said that around 1.36 lakh employees have benefited from restoring the old pension scheme in Himachal Pradesh. He acknowledged the significant contributions of these employees to the state’s development journey and emphasized the government’s commitment to their social security. Furthermore, he mentioned that the state government had granted a three percent dearness allowance to both employees and pensioners. As the financial condition of the state improves, Chief Minister Sukhu assured that additional benefits would be provided to the employees.
