MRF racing team triumphed at Coimbatore car rally with Aditya Thakur leading the charge

The MRF racing team clinched victory at the car rally held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The winning driver, Aditya Thakur, hails from Bhaguvadi Panchayat in Doon. The rally saw participation from 70 companies, including MRF, JK, and Mahindra. This event was the third round of the Blue Band FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship for four-wheelers.

Aditya Thakur, along with his co-driver Virender Kashyap, representing MRF, navigated the course with ease in two stages, securing the overall title. Thakur had previously finished second in the first round and took the lead in the third round to clinch the win. Upcoming rounds are scheduled to take place in Hyderabad, Coorg in Karnataka, and Bangalore. Thakur was the national champion in 2021 and the runner-up in 2022.

Hailing from Himachal, Aditya Thakur and his co-driver Virender Kashyap of Chettinad Sporting showcased their prowess on the first day of the FMSCI INRC for four-wheelers. Thakur, with Kashyap as his co-driver, outperformed the competition to emerge as the overall leader after six stages in the Rally of Coimbatore, the third round of the Blueband-FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship for four-wheelers, held on Saturday.
