Monsoon death toll went up to 209 in HPseven people died in last 24 hrs

Death toll of monsoon season went up to 209 in Himachal Pradesh as  seven people died inlast 24 hrs Five bodies have been recovered and thers are still missing. 
State Disaster management authority said in the press release issued here today that 107 People killed in rain related road mishap, 26 falling from road, building and cliff, 21 died in landslides, 19 drowning, two in fire, seven in snake bites,  four  each  in electrocution, and slipping from the height and glacier one in man animal conflict and 13 in other mishap.
Spokesperson said that two  people died in road accident one each Bilaspur and Shimla, two died falling from the height and one in electricutation.
Seven people missing since yesterday including three in Lahaul Spiti and four in Kullu could not tarced out. As it has been reported on Wednesday that four persons washed away while they are crossing a nallah . The bodies of deceased including a woman, four year children, a local and tourists could not traced out sofar.

Shimla district recorded loss of 33 lives, 24 in Kangra, 21 in Sirmaur,  20 in Chamba, 19 Mandi , 17 each in Lahaul Spiti and Kullu,  15 in Solan, 14 in Kinnaur , 12 each  in Una and Bilaspur and five in Hamipur.
Road mishap alone took toll of 25 People in Shimla, 18 in Sirmuar, 15 in Solan, 10 in Chamba, nine each  in Una and Mandi ,five each  in Kullu and Bilaspur, three each in Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti, two in Hamipur and one in Kangra district.

Eight people drown in Kangra , three each have drowned in Mandi and Kullu, two in Bilaspur and one each in Shimla, Hamirpur and Lahaul Spiti in the monsoon rains and flash flood. 
Seven people died in flashfllood and cloudburst in Lahaul Spiti district on Monday night two in Chamba.
In the state as many as 94 road and two bridges washed away or damaged in the flood as 30 roads are disrupted in Kullu, 24 in  Lahaul Spiti district. 
Power supply has been affected in 91 places and water supply 71 places . 
Four Kaccha house damaged fully and 29 Pucca and 59 Kaccha house partly. Heavy rain also damaged 35 cowshed damaged and eight animal died and 25 washed away and missing in the rain.
In the Monsoon rain 428 animal or livestock worth Rs 28.65 Cr have been killed and Monsoon rain have caused cumulative loss of Rs 5170Cr to public and private property in the state.
