Modi government has completely surrendered to Adani : Akhilesh Pratap Singh
All India Congress Committee spokesperson Akhilesh Pratap Singh has accused the Modi government at the Center that it has completely surrendered to Adani. He said that this is the first time in the history of the country when a Prime Minister has been facing serious allegations in the Parliament for selling the country’s wealth to one person and giving undue benefits to someone contrary to the rules, and the Prime Minister is far from answering those allegations. Haven’t even refuted them. In a democracy, it is the responsibility of the government to answer the questions of the opposition inside the parliament, which Modi did not fulfill.
Addressing a press conference at Congress Headquarters Rajiv Bhawan here today, Akhilesh Pratap Singh said that the questions asked by senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the Parliament regarding Adani were removed from the proceedings of the Parliament. He said that the way the country’s economy has been hit after the report of the hidden class is a matter of great concern. He said that how did a person who was on the 609th rank of Amiri in 2014 become number two in seven years. He said that all this has become possible due to the connivance of Adani and Prime Minister Modi, because the central government has become a special person Adani and not the common people. He said that before the elections, the Prime Minister changed the rules and gave 6 airports to Adani at once, in addition to this many ports and other companies were also sold to him. He said that the central government first raids a company and then Adani buys those companies. He said that the entire central government is not working for the common people but only for Adani. He said that the government is on mute mode and Adani is on loot mode. Modi has put oil in his ears and the voice of the country is not reaching him.
Akhilesh Pratap said that the Congress will raise the voice of the people against this corruption happening in the country by demanding that the JPC investigate the funding received by the media from abroad to Adani and the purchase of the country’s companies. He said that this would be a big issue in the next year’s general elections in the country.
