Modi gave free ration, cheap onion, and flour: Bindal
BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of the country, in reality if anyone thought about the salvation of the country and the people of the state, then it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government at the Centre.
Prime Minister Modi’s government has done an excellent job of providing free ration, cheap onion and cheap flour in the country. Prime Minister Modi gave Diwali gift to crores of poor people of the country. PM Modi announced that the free ration scheme will be extended for five more years. He said that this scheme was running for the last 3 years and PM Modi has decided that the BJP government will extend this scheme of providing free ration to 80 crore poor people of the country for the next five years. Bindal said that this scheme of giving free ration to 80 crore poor was ending in the month of December, but now it will be extended for five years, this is Modi’s guarantee. He said that under this scheme, people who go away from home to earn their livelihood will also get the facility to get food grains across the country through One Nation One Ration Card.
Bindal said that poor welfare is the first priority of the Modi government. While the Modi government has given 3.50 crore permanent houses to the poor, Rs 6000 is being deposited every year in the accounts of the farmers of the country. Similarly, the self-esteem of 43 crore poor people was increased by opening Jan Dhan accounts. Not only this, women have been given respect by building approximately 9 crore toilets. He said that Modi ji has done what he said in the direction of poor welfare. The Congress Party always kept raising the slogan of only the poor but the actual situation was completely different. The poor actually kept getting poorer and adding the next 5 years to the 9 years of incomparable poor welfare by Modi ji is a very important step, we express our gratitude to Modi ji.
Attacking the opposition, Bindal said that Congress has never given anything to the poor except deception. Congress never respects the poor. It never understands the pain and suffering of the poor, that is why as long as the Congress remained in the central government, it kept on looting the money of the poor and eating it and keeping it in the coffers of its leaders. Bindal said that filling the coffers with corruption has become a habit of Congress.
Bindal said that the National Cooperative Consumer Federation (NCCF) of the Central Government provided onions to the people at cheaper rates. Onions were distributed to the people in Solan, Shimla and all the districts of the state at the rate of Rs 25 per kg. 23 quintals of onion were distributed in Solan and 25 quintals of onion was distributed in Shimla.
