Misuse of Central Agencies: Cong cordon Shimla ED Office
On the call of AlCC, state unit of Congress today cordoned the Enforcement Directorate Office at Strawberry office Chhota Shimla accusing Modi government at the Center of misusing the investigating agencies against Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi by making false cases. Himachal Pradesh Congress committee Pratibha Singh, former HPCC chief Kuldeep Singh Rathore also attended the Protest. MLA Vikramaditya Singh, Activists of Congress party including Jenab Chandel, State President Mahila Congress & Jitender Chaudhary, Shimla District President also participated the protest
Mr Vikramditya Singh said that Congress leaders are being targeting as a part of conspiracy. He said that the way Congress leaders are being booked and harassed by central agencies showed that BJP wants to grab the voice of Congress leaders anger towards the Congress. Son of former chief minister Virbhadra Singh said that the ED’s summons to Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi are purely politically motivated as in reality, Rahul Gandhi is a big challenge to the BJP. The BJP is in a tizzy with the Bharat Jodo Padyatra campaign of Rahul Gandhi. The BJP has been misleading people to divert the attention of the people from the serious problems of the country. He said that on the second day when the Desh Jodo Padyatra was decided in the concerned camp of the Congress in Udaipur. The summoning of their leaders to the ED is completely a political conspiracy against their leaders. He said that the Central Government is misusing the ED, Income Tax, CBI in the country. Whenever the election time comes in the country, they start raiding the houses of the leaders or their close ones. He said that for the last 8 years. ” ED registered more than 11000 cases in India however it could found guilty only in 78 cases.” Congress leader said. The country’s economy has been completely derailed by the central government.
He said that today the economic condition of India is not different from Sri Lanka. He said that in the last two years there are more than 22 crore unemployed youth who registered their names for jobs. Congress leader also blamed BJP for doing politics of polarization in the country. He said that
