Mild earthquake jolts Kullu and Mandi

Tremors were felt in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu and Mandi districts on Tuesday, sparking panic among residents. The earthquake, which occurred around 12:02 PM, registered a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter located at a depth of 3.3 kilometers in Mandi district.

Following the tremors, many people rushed out of their homes in fear. Just two days earlier, tremors were also recorded in Kullu. Fortunately, no damage has been reported so far. The National Center for Seismology has confirmed that the low magnitude of the earthquake means there is little risk of significant harm.
