MC to remove hoarding from public places

Mincipal Corporations would ensure to remove hoardings if they are placed in public places without permission and violations would amount disfigurement of public place. A Press release issued by state police here said that state police would take strict action if such hoarding or adversement found in public places. It is worthwhile to mention that

Himachal Pradesh high court has issued order in regard to disfigurement of public places under ( Prevention of Disfigurement ) Act , 1985 by fixing of advertisement or  hoardings . As per the guidelines issued , no advertisement or hoardings shall be allowed to be fixed in public places without prior permission or approval of Municipal Corporation and strict action will be taken against the violators . Dy.SP ( HQ ) Shimla , Vijay Raghuwanshi , has been nominated as Nodal Officer ( .Police ) to monitor such violations & deal with the complaints in this regard . If any violation came to the notice at your end , a written complaint by clicking the photos of the place where the unauthorized hoardings and banners may be sent to concerned Police Station and Nodal Officer
