Martyr Vivek Kumar last rites were performed in Lambagaon with full military and state honors, the younger brother of Martyr lit the fire Earlier to this morning mortal remains of Martyr Vivek Kumar reached Upper Thehdu village of district Kangra sub-division Jaisinghpur on the fourth day of misshap on today.
On behalf of the government, Minister Sarveen Chaudhary, Deputy Speaker Hanshraj, MLA Jaisinghpur Ravindra Dhiman, MLA Mulkhraj Premi, MLA Arun Mehra, Leader of Opposition Mukesh Agnihotri, Congress MLA Dhani Ram Shandil and officials of the administration were present.
Breaking the tradition, the martyr’s wife attended the martyr’s funeral.
Due to this tragic incident, not only the family of the Martyr but Upper Thehdu Kosari, Jaisinghpur, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh and the whole country are in shock and attend the funeral procession.
Vivek Kumar was married only 2 years ago and he also has a six-month-old son.
Elderly parents are deep shock by the martyrdom of their son.
On reaching the mortal remains of martyr Vivek Kumar at Gagal airport first, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur paid homage to the martyr.
The Chief Minister consoled the father of the sacrificer and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that this son is not yours but the son of the entire state and country, who has laid down his life for his motherland.
Ten lakh rupees will be given by the government to the family of the martyr Jai Ram Thakur said that giving a job to a member of the martyr’s family would also be considered.
It should be noted that 13 people, including the country’s first Chief of Defense CDS General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat, were killed when an Indian Air Force helicopter crashed near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.
The brave son of Himachal, Lance Naik Vivek Kumar was also martyr in this accident.
Vivek was a para commando and was posted under the security of CDS.
Martyr’s wife Priyanka said that she is proud of her husband’s martyrdom and he should remain immortal.
Demanding from the government, he said that he has to support his family and take care of the child, I should be given a job.
The relatives of the same martyr said that Vivek was a very promising boy, he was the only bread earner of the family.
