Many cases of corruption have surfaced in the state
BJP State General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma said that the Chief Minister does not have a stable home and it seems as if the Chief Minister has become a fugitive.
He said that the Chief Minister says that his house was once in Shimla, then in Naidun and now in Dehra. It is not understood where the Chief Minister is a permanent resident, even the Chief Minister’s wife does not come from Dehra but from Apnitu Jaswan Pragpur.
Every day the Chief Minister says that he will bring development, but if he had the desire to bring development then why were development works not carried out in Himachal Pradesh during the 18 months of his government? Why were Hamirpur, Dehra and Nalagarh deprived of development?
He said that the functioning of the Public Works Department in Hamirpur zone has become a matter of investigation, here the laws are being ignored to get the tender and the favourites are being given benefits. This work is being done by none other than the Chief Minister of this state Sukhu himself. The Chief Minister is putting pressure to get the tender for his favourites, many times these tenders are being issued and then cancelled. More than 100% deviation is being done in the tender, let us tell you that 2 tender applications were sought for Una division in which 4 people participated, but two were rejected for his favourites. For the last 6 months, the tender of one division is being called but due to his favourites not getting the tender, it has been cancelled 10 times. This wrong work is being done by ignoring many rules. CM giving benefits to his friends and favourites is also a betrayal to the people of Himachal.
He said that many cases of corruption of this government of friends are being exposed among the public. The Congress government is getting completely exposed. Questions have been raised about a digitization tender costing more than seven crores in Himachal Pradesh Marketing Board. This matter is serious, the MD of the Marketing Board kept writing on the file to re-do this tender, but the Agriculture Secretary and Chairman Marketing Board awarded the tender. The decision to award was also taken in the absence of many members of the tender committee and the chairman. The established financial rules of the state government were ignored in awarding the tender.
