Manju Dabri Mandar bus service stopped after running for two days
Despite adequate ridership, Manju Dabri, Mandar bus service was stopped by Himachal Road Transport Corporation Shimla two days after its inauguration. Due to this, the flame of anger against the government has flared up among the people. Nek Chand Sharma, a resident of the area, said that on March 12, after 75 years of independence, the road from Baldeniya Dhar to Manju Dabri Madar (Kyartunala) was inaugurated. After this, the Himri bus was sent on this road via Manju Dabri Mandar. By stopping this bus after two days without any reason, HRTC has done a big disservice to the people of the area.
Nek Chand Sharma and Kisan Sabha Kasupanti Secretary Jai Shiv Thakur said that on the first day of the inauguration, about 50 people and even more people reached Shimla by bus on the second day, but people did not know that their happiness would turn into disappointment after two days. With the start of this bus service, especially farmers, school children, and patients going to IGMC were getting a lot of benefits.
They say that by starting bus service on this route for two days, the government has played a big joke with the people, to which the people have decided to answer in the Lok Sabha elections. Jayshiv Thakur and Nek Chand Sharma have questioned the Transport Corporation as to on what basis the bus has been stopped on this route. Whereas there was no shortage of passengers on this route. He said that if the bus service is not started again on this route, then Kisan Sabha and the people of the area will not hesitate to protest because, after a lot of struggle, people have built this road.
Regional Manager HRTC Shimla Unit-3 Ankur Verma said that as per the instructions of the Directorate, this bus service has been stopped.
