Man dies in shooting stones mishap in Mandi

State Disaster Management Authority said today that loss of life and property is continuing in the post monsoon rains and snowfall as one person died after shooting stones hit him near Fourmile in t Mandi district on Thursday.
Spokesperson of state emergency operation center Sudesh Mokta said that  an incident of shooting Stone occurred four miles when a Goods Carrier vehicle hit by a boulder.
The driver of the good carrier died on the spot which caused traffic jam for hours on the Chandigarh Manali national highways.
A police team and Tehsildar Mandi rushed to the Incident spot to take the account of situations.
Recent rain and snow wreaked havoc as about half dozen trekkers died in the snow blizzard and stranded on the high passes. 
The state Disaster management authority said that about 80 people have killed in the rain and Weather related and road mishap in the post monsoon rain. Around Rs 100 Cr loss of property also occurred in recent inclement weather and landslides.
Deputy commissioner Kinnaur Apoorva Devgan said that three bodies of trekkers could not brought down from Bhurna pass of Kinnuar district till dusk this afternoon now Rescue party would bring down dead bodies tomorrow morning and conduct postmortem at Kilba before handing over to their co-trekkers rescued in snow blizzard on Oct 25
The deceased were identified as Deepak Rau(58) son of Narayan Rau, Rajinder Bhal Chander Pathak( 65) son of Bal Chander Pathak and Ashok Madhukar (64) son of Madhukar all belonged from Mumbai.  
Two trekkers who are missing since Oct 19 at Lakhmaga passes could not traceable after mounting of five to six feet Snowfall.
District Administration have now imposed complete ban on trekking and mountaineering activities after advance winter recorded heavy snowfall on most of trekking route in district.
