Major fire averted at Shimla Mall Road restaurant

A major fire mishap  was averted on the Mall Road in Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla on Sunday morning as fire broke out in a restaurant near Khadi outlet in a market full of tourists.  
Superintendent of Shimla police Ms Monika Bhutunagru said that fire mishap occurred about two hundredmeter away from the Mall road control room this morning as the clouds of smoke came out from the restaurants.
The smoke and blazes come out form the kitchen of Honey hut around 1000 hrs created panic among the people.
 The workers working on the restaurant immediately informed police and fire control room. 
Two fire tenders were deployed from the mall road douse down the inferno before it could spread in other building in the line of fire. 
The blages were brought under control in time however it may cause massive devastation as  nearby restaurant was Khadi store and entire mention had made out of highly inflammable wooden craving. 
In last couple of years fire Lower Bazar fire in  Shimla, had suffered massive devastation in the old and heritage township.
Number of heritage building have been gutted down by number of fire incidents including AG Office buildingand Grand hotel.
