Lofty hills of Chamba rock light tremor

A tremor measured 3.20, rocked  part of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, the Indian Meterogical Department confirmed. A light magnitude earthquake measured 3.20 on the Richter scale at 1545 hrs on Wednesday. It was located at 33.21 degrees North , 76.68 degrees East and 58.1 km deep in Bahai-Jar ranges of Himalayas in Chamba District  about 250 from state capital Shimla. Tremor was felt by the people but did not cause any loss to life and property
