Lions Club Shimla Organizes ‘Food for Hunger Project’ to Combat Food Poverty

Lions Clubs International continues its efforts to tackle food poverty by ensuring access to nutritious food for all, reflecting their commitment to humanitarianism. As part of this initiative, Lions Club Shimla held its second “Food for Hunger Project” at Kamla Nehru Hospital on September 29th, starting from 12 PM.

According to the President of Lions Club, Lion Man Mohan Verma, nutritious meals were distributed separately to patients and their attendants. The general public was also served a variety of dishes, with over 380 people benefiting from the initiative.

In addition to Lion Man Mohan Verma, the event saw active participation from Project Chairperson Lion C.L. Sankhayan, Secretary Lion M.K. Sharma, Vice President Lion Gopal Vaid, Director Lion P.S. Panwar, Director Lion D.K. Chauhan, Joint Secretary Lion S.L. Sharma, Director of the Board Lion Vimal Sood, and Lion Daleep Kumar, along with other members, who contributed to serving the meals.
