Light Snowfalls in tourist resort Kufri & Narkanda

Tourist resort Kufri and Narkanda received light snowfall in the state today which was continue as inclement weather conditions prevailing in the state, the Met Office said.
Tourist resort Kufri, Fagu and Narkanda recorded five to ten cm snowfall which was continue. Shimla and nearby areas received snow flakes and sleet and nearby area lashed by light rain.

 The Vehicular traffic was  between Chharabra to Fagu on NH-05 partly disrupted  however the vehicular traffic was restored soon 

The Met Office forecast rain and snowfall in many places and issued orange warning in Tissa of Chamba district and Padhar and Gohar of Mandi district of very heavy snow and rain and yellow warning of heavy rain and snow wad also issued in 11 districts baring Bilaspur.
The state was already in the grip of shivering coldwave as it was mainly overcast since morning. 
Keylong in Lahaul Spiti was minus 7.2 degrees and two degrees low of yesterday.
 Kalpa was minus 3.4 degrees, Kufri minus one degrees, Manali minus 0.2 degrees, Sundernagar in Mandi teo degrees, Bhuntar 2.4 degrees, Shimla three degrees, Dharmshala 7.2 degrees, Solan 1.2 degrees Hmairpur 4.8 degrees and Mandi 3.2 degrees, Bilaspur Five degrees, Dalhousie 2.4 degrees ,Poantashahib five degrees, Chamba 5.3  degrees, Una 5.6 degrees, Jubberhati in Shima 4.9 degrees, Kangra six degrees and Nahan in Sirmaur 9.3 degrees respectively.
Maximum temperatures were 4-5 degree below yesterday and  24 hrs and 5-6 degree below normal. Keylong in Lahaul Spiti was minus 0.1 degrees and one degree down of yesterday.
 Maximum temperature of Kalpa was 3.2 degrees, Kufri 2.7 degrees, Manali eight degrees, Sundernagar in Mandi 11 degrees, Bhuntar 9.7 degrees, Shimla 7.2 degrees, Dharmshala 14.8 degrees, Solan 11.2 degrees Hamirpur 12 degrees and Mandi 12.2 degrees, Bilaspur 13 degrees, Dalhousie four degrees, Chamba 12.2  degrees, Una 17 degrees, Jubberhati in Shima 11 degrees, Kangra 15.8 degrees and Nahan in Sirmaur 14.8 degrees respectively.
