Land slides disrupts Hindustan Tibet National Highway in Himachal
Landslide disrupted the vehicular traffic on the Hindustan Tibet National Highway at Kinnuar district today the officer of district administration informed.
HP State Emergency Operation Center Spokesperson Mr Sudesh Mokata said that an incident of landslide occurred on NH-5 near Chaura due to this traffic blocked for all kinds of vehicles . Restorationwork is under process. District administration deployed the machinery for restoration of Road.
The Met Office said that south west monsoon was normal over the state and Palampur in Kangra had 16 mm rain, Dharmshala eight mm, Mehre and Saloni in Chamba two mm each. It was mainly dry in the state during last 24 hrs and no change in the day and night temperature.
Commencement of withdrawal of Monsoon from some parts of Northwest India likely to be around Oct6 and the further update would be made soon, IMD sources informed.
Keylong was coldest in the state today as minimum temperature was recorded eight degree Celsius and Una was warmest with maximum temperature at 34 .2 degrees.
The forecast of rain or thunderstorm is made in state at isolated places in next 24 hrs due to Western Disturbancesmoreover the it would be mainly dry in the state after Oct 5 onward.
