Kuldeep Rathore apprises AICC
State Congress Party, Congress President Kuldeep Singh Rathore met Congress National General Secretary, KC Benugopal recently to apprised the AICC about the prevailing situation. Arresting speculation to oust Rathore from the post of state party chief on the behalf of state Congress leaders, Mr Rathore said in a press release issued here today that he is safe and asked by party high command continue to lead the party from the front. He said that all senior state leaders were summoned to Delhi and Congress President Sonia Gandhi took a meeting of along with them too, Mr Rathore said.He informed the Congress leaderships about the mass movement launched by him with solidarity of party workers against the anti-people policies of the BJP during stint of state party president. ” Congress is getting huge public response in these movements Mr Benugopal was also informed. The Protests are being organised by the party against anti-people policies of BJP rule also getting huge public support, he said that the party workers are excited by the resounding victory of the Congress in the last four by-elections. Before the assembly elections in the state this year, the state Congress is fully prepared for the elections to the Municipal Corporation Shimla.Rathore held a meeting with AICC in-charge of state, Rajeev Shukla and he said that whatever instructions and programs are being received by him from the high command, they are being completed successfully. The state Congress has also started its preparations for the assembly elections to be held this year. Rathore claimed that the central leaders of the Congress lauded the work of the state Congress organization and wished them for their excellent performance and victory in the upcoming assembly elections. The process of victory which has started in the four bye-elections in the state would not stop in the future, he added.
