Keylong shivers at minus 12.3 ; Coldest night of the season

The coldwave unabatted in the state as night temperature plunged down to this season’s low today and remain 1.2 degrees below normal, in minus and near freezing point in most of places in the state, the Met Office said.
Minimum temperature of Kaza and Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti was minus 20 and minus 12.3  degree Celsius and four degrees below normal.

Kalpa town in Kinnaur recorded minus four degrees, Kufri minus 2.6 degrees and Manali minus 2.4 degrees and Dalhousie one degrees.
Minimum temperature of  Solan was minus 0.4 degrees, Sundernagar in Mandi 0.1  degrees, Shimla 1.3 degrees, Dharmshala 2.4 degrees,  Bhuntar in Kullu minus 0.1 degrees and Chamba 1.4 degrees each, Shimla 1.3 degrees, Mandi 0.3 degrees, Palampur two degrees, Una 2.4 degrees, Kangara 2.6 degrees, Hamirpur 2.4 and Bilaspur  two degrees and  Poantashahib 3.9 and Jubberhati in Shimla 3. 4 degrees and Nahan in Sirmaur 8.3 degrees.
Met Office forecast mainly dry weather in next 24 hrs.
